[Lanzhou Scrap Lithium-ion Battery Project Upgrade and Transformation Focuses on Annual Production of 500 mt of High-quality Lithium Carbonate] The Lanzhou Ecological Environment Bureau of Gansu Province has issued a public notice on the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment document for the "5kt/a Scrap Lithium-ion Battery Resource Recycling Production Line Product Upgrade and Quality Improvement Project". The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of the scrap lithium-ion battery resource recycling industry in Lanzhou and even Gansu Province. With a total investment of 43.8588 million yuan, this project will undergo an upgrade and transformation based on the existing 5kt/a scrap lithium-ion battery resource recycling production line, adding new processes such as impurity removal, freezing denitration, lithium precipitation, carbonisation, pyrolysis, and post-treatment. After the upgrade and transformation of this project, it can achieve an annual production of 500 mt of high-quality lithium carbonate.
